Deep scratches in oiled wood surface

Step 1:
Using the Premium Repair Set for oiled/waxed surfaces, ensure the damaged area is clean, dry, and free of grease. Remove any loose or raised particles before beginning the repair.
Step 2:
Choose suitable colour tones, always using a range of shades from light to dark. For deeper scratches, mix coloured waxes with transparent wax to add depth to the repair.
Step 3:
Melt and mix small amounts of filler using the heated Battery Melter.
Step 4:
Allow the melted wax mixture to flow into the damaged area, slightly overfilling the scratch for best results.
Step 5:
Use the sharp grooves of the Special Fillers Applicator to strip off excess material.
Step 6:
To match the wood grain, add details with a darker shade of wax, then use the Special Fillers Applicator to remove any excess.
Step 7:
Degrease the area using the sanding paper. Begin with coarse sandpaper (150 grit), then switch to finer grit (240). Note: Sand carefully and only with light pressure over the surface.

Step 8:
To protect the repaired area, apply a sealing with the AQUA Brush Pen Clear Lacquer. Apply the lacquer evenly in one direction to the repaired area. If possible, do not apply lacquer to the surrounding area.
Step 9:
Once the lacquer is dry, apply Picobello Premium Special Oil with a cotton cloth to the repaired area and surrounding surface to restore the original oiled/waxed appearance. Repeat if necessary for best results.
